KioWare Kiosk is a secure browser that automatically runs industry standard web applications without modification and handles kiosk specific issues such as:

No title, menu, favorites or status bars

Navigation toolbar (including Address bar) and Scrollbars are optional

Customizable Toolbar Skins

Special purpose key filtering (F1-12, Ctrl, Alt, Del, etc.) are optional

It isn't even obvious a web application is being run

Browser and Desktop are completely locked down

KioWare can run as OS Shell to improve performance and security

Popups can be allowed or blocked

Domain List Blocking - either white or black list

Page List Blocking - for a given domain, using either a white or black list

Attract Screens automatically displayed - unlimited quantity

Automatically resets application to the home page after a defined period of inactivity

In its simplest form, the easiest way to understand KioWare is to consider it to be a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser that has been modified to provide lockdown (ie, secure browser) and kiosk functions. KioWare Kiosk is made up of two components: the Application Viewer and Configuration Tool.
