Customizable Lockdown
KioWare enables you to lock down the user’s access to the device, network and browser to match your project requirements. Browser settings enable you to control what domains or pages users can view as well as define what, if any, files can be downloaded or copied to the computer.
User Session Management
KioWare manages user session to ensure all user data is removed when the user leaves the kiosk, content you specify is displayed to attract the next user, and the application is reset ready for the next user. Your application can concentrate on creating a great user experience.
Custom User Interface
KioWare provides an easy method to add custom toolbars with buttons to provide a variety of functions such as navigation, zooming, volume control, and custom links. The toolbars can be specifically branded to complement your application. Additional docked browsers can be easily configured to add digital signage or weather information to your kiosk.
External Device Integration
Kiosks often use unique devices (EMV credit card readers, bill acceptors/dispensers, RFID scanners, etc), so we provide an easy interface layer between your application and the device. KioWare is especially useful when the application is hosted on a remote server and cannot directly access the device.
Kiosk Automation
KioWare enables you to create access codes to ensure local staff can manage the kiosk without providing unsecure access. This includes power down/reboot of the PC, running scripts and navigating to a URL. In addition, you can create scheduled tasks that automatically perform tasks, such as allowing the display to sleep at night, rebooting the PC, and executing scripts.
Samsung Knox Support
KioWare for Android offers additional support for devices using Samsung Knox. We integrate or support several features with the Knox enterprise management library such as kiosk mode, remote app installs and upgrades, device reboot schedules, and hardware management for power/back/home buttons.
