We’ve configured them to lockdown the workstation OS, which really gives us piece of mind knowing that the general public can only navigate the company website. I do like the available configuration options, we’re taking advantage of the auto-logoff/shutdown feature to close and turn off the PC’s each night at a specified time. KioWare is running so smoothly that once the PC is powered up in the morning it runs itself, supporting the general public on the kiosk stations is literally not an issue for our in-store customer service staff.

We actually just purchased additional licenses. It works very well for us so far. I especially like that the scheduled shutdown each night and the auto login. That allows me to have our branch front desk folks just power up the machine each morning and forget about it the rest of the day and then it doesn’t get left on and waste power while we are closed at night.
