Updated to Chromium 131
KioWare for Windows has been updated to support Chromium 131.
KioWare for Android 4.8 has implemented generic serial device support, including an updated API method allowing for communication with serial devices similar to that of the KioWare for Windows KioRawSerialDevice API. Supported data formats include string, hex, and decimal.
Added API method to retrieve device Bluetooth name
KioWare for Android 4.x can now access the Bluetooth name of a device via an improved KioWareUtils API method.
In addition, a new substitution variable has been added to allow users to add the device Bluetooth name to any string ($$BLUETOOTH_NAME$$).
With access to KioWare Remote Kiosk Management, users can now leverage features such as heartbeat monitoring, statistics logging, custom app logging, remote content updates, and managed configs.
Added new screen orientation and resolution settings
Allows more flexibility to customize how the interface displays across different devices and monitor setups.
An update to override a device screen timeout has been added to KioWare for Chrome OS. Along with forcing the screen to stay on globally, KioWare now supports specifying times during which a device screen timeout should be ignored. Any time outside of the specified range will allow screen timeouts to operate normally.
Various Bug Fixes
A variety of other fixes and improvements, including resolving an issue with custom spacers improperly reflecting their assigned properties. Previously, setting the spacer’s URL or color value was ignored.
This change enhances both security and performance of the KioWare Server & KioCloud.
KioWare License Server integrated into KioCloud
Licenses that use KioWare License Server, a license type that allows flexible licensing windows, can now be managed via KioCloud.
Added ability for KioWare Enterprise to auto assign to a group
KioWare Enterprise will have the ability to be auto-assigned to a specified kiosk management group.
Expiration date for Server Commands created by Triggers & Actions
Server Commands created by Triggers & Actions can now be set to expire by a certain date or after a specified amount of time.
