Yes. You can download a fully functional 14-day trial to explore KioWare and configure it for your use case. The trial gives you access to all KioWare software features found in Starter, Essential, and Enterprise, so you can test features and confirm the right fit before purchasing.

When you’re ready, you purchase a subscription and apply your license—no reconfiguration required. Everything you configure during the trial remains in place when licensed.

KioWare is available in three software levels—Starter, Essential, and Enterprise—so you can choose the option that best fits your environment and scale.

  • Starter is designed for simple, single-device scenarios where basic lockdown and controlled web access are all that’s needed.
  • Essential, our most popular level, is the ideal choice for kiosks and shared-device deployments, offering advanced web control, user interface customization, single-app experiences, and accessibility integrations.
  • Enterprise is designed for larger environments and includes everything in Essential, along with device support. Optional remote management helps teams organize kiosks, monitor device status, and manage updates from one place.

Once you choose a level, your license can be applied to a device in one of the supported platforms: Windows, Android, Chrome OS, and Linux.

KioWare uses subscription-based licensing, billed annually. Each license is tied to a specific device, giving you access to software updates, security improvements, and ongoing support for the duration of your subscription.

Your device remains licensed and protected as long as your subscription is active, and you can cancel before your renewal if your needs change.

After purchase, you’ll receive an email with instructions to create your Customer Account. From there, you can:

  • View past purchases
  • Download the latest software versions
  • Manage licenses across your devices

Current customers should use the Technical Support portal for any technical questions, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, or software-related issues. The portal is the fastest way to get help and allows you to submit and track support requests in one place.
