YORK, PA -- A new version update of KioWare for Chrome OS has been released. Version 1.4 is now available with a couple of improvements that will contribute to the company’s evergreen goal of constantly improving user experience.
Add Setting to Disable Screen Sleep
An update to override a device screen timeout has been added to KioWare for Chrome OS. Along with forcing the screen to stay on globally, KioWare now supports specifying times during which a device screen timeout should be ignored. Any time outside of the specified range will allow screen timeouts to operate normally.
Fix for Spacer Values Being Ignored
In addition to the screen timeout updates, KioWare has also released an update which resolved an issue with custom spacers improperly reflecting their assigned properties. Previously, setting the spacer’s URL or color value was ignored.
