Wednesday, December 27, 2017

We have released Version 7.0.0 of KioWare Browser, KioWare Lite and KioWare Kiosk Basic, and Version 4.8.0 of KioWare Server. There are many new features available, most notably the support for Windows 8 for the entire product line and the Mean Time Between Failure Tracking feature for KioWare Server, which changes the kiosk status when the total runtime on kiosk hardware components reaches a defined limit.

The new version features apply mostly to the Windows OS, unless otherwise noted.

In KioWare Version 6.8, a bug in the Enable Frame Navigation checkbox in the Error Handling dialog box was introduced. Specifically, it reversed the behavior of the checkbox which determined whether KioWare would perform error redirection at the frame level. Now behavior matches the checkbox state.
